Kalimantan forms the Indonesian part of the island of Borneo. Off its coast there are some diving sites, however it is more famous for its jungles and many different ethnic groups. Many books have been written about the mystique of Borneo, like "Stranger in the Forest: On Foot Across Borneo". Kalimantan offers some good dive sites, however infrastructure and dive centers are rather limited in comparism to other dive sites in Indonesia.

Randayan Island It takes 2 hours to get from Pasir Panjang Beach to Randayan Island by motor boat or speed boat. This island has a beautiful beach with clear and clean water and is marvelous for diving.
